sometimes when i get to thinking, i'll notice the smaller things, things representing nothing yet the placement of such things makes a difference. not sure why, not sure why i should be thinking about them, but i have been. and just when i'm about to believe in those unspoken words of connection, i'll come back to those objects and notice the placement once more. one below the other in a chronological order. descending.. and ascending.. then back again to the same spot.

maybe not from the sources you have poured yours.
maybe not from the directions you are staring at.

i'm just not receiving.
my phone is off the hook.
my doors are all shut.
